In this workshop participants will learn how to make fire in a primitive way. The workshop will focus on what is known as the bow drill technique. Participants will learn about different types of wood and materials to use, the different pieces and set-up needed along with the proper form for making bow-drill fires. Participants will each construct their own bow-drill set and will leave with the knowledge and hopefully the desire, to make fire. We will also learn about good fire building, maintenance, and safety.
